On World Bee Day (20 May 2025) and for Biodiversity Week 2025, Green Foundation Ireland hosted an evening online talk with PADDY HOLOHAN of the Carlow Beekeepers’ Association which focused on the development of accommodation for honey bees and associated issues.
Subsequent to our event, Paddy was awarded the prestigious “Beekeeper of the Year” by the Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations. This award recognises the huge commitment that Paddy has shown to all aspects of beekeeping and also to the Carlow Beekeepers’ Association. Many congratulations, Paddy!
